May 2014 Tea Party

We had a great time planning and hosting this fun mother daughter activity. Sometimes it can be hard for me to get out of my "to do" mindset and just take a break and enjoy this short time I have with Lucy before she grows up and heads off to school. I made the goal to have more fun with her this year so that I could mindfully make time to create more fun memories with her.

Lucy and I invited Zach and Clara to attend our "tea party" which actually consisted of pink lemonade, or milk, depending on preferences. Personally, I always prefer a glass of ice cold milk with my desserts.

About half way through, Lucy decided that she needed to dress the part and got out her costume box to properly accessorize. 

"A fine crumb, and a subtle flavor."

We had a great time chatting and eating treats. Lucy wanted to host another party immediately and said it was her best day ever.


Who wants to come to our next tea party!? We are always looking for people to attend our get-togethers. It is always more fun with friends to share it with.
