Grilled Cheese Party

What do you do with all the leftovers from a cheese party?

Have a Grilled Cheese Party!

We invited our friends over for a dinner of grilled cheese and tomato soup followed by an evening of games. It was the perfect use of so much leftover cheese. I love cheese, and love it even more when it is melted.

Mouth-watering.

So many delicious choices.

I enjoyed a grilled sandwich of pepper jack, swiss, mild cheddar, and ham. It was so good dipped in a warm bowl of tomato soup. Yum!

Zach's was easy to make: just ham.

Ladies Night: Cheese & Chocolate Party

I did it! I followed through on one of my inspirations and hosted a Cheese & Chocolate party. And let me tell you, I had a blast!

It was so much fun to get to know some new ladies and to enjoy some delicious cheese, chocolate, fruits, nuts, and other treats.

I love any excuse for a party and to eat good food. We enjoyed some old favorites and tried some exciting new treats too.

Yum.

This is my new favorite treat.

Cream cheese & caramel toffee fruit dip. Excellent with graham crackers.

These also made an excellent breakfast the next morning.

Baby Shower In A Box

I was so happy and excited to receive a Baby Shower In A Box from my mom. She hosted a combined baby shower in Alaska for all the cousins that had babies in the past few months, and then sent me the gifts that were brought for Clara.

Pool Party

Lucy, Clara, and I met up with our friends at the base pool. We were only there for about 30 minutes when they closed it down because the water Ph and chlorine levels were wrong. Luckily, we got our money back and the kiddlets still enjoyed the time they did get to swim around.

Now that I have gone to the pool with two little kids by myself (no Zach), I am more confident and am looking forward to going again.

I only hope that Clara sleeps for most of the time again!
